“ Good atmosphere. Good food. Service is good. My favorite dish is the ranch rattlers but beware... tha jalapeños are hot. ”
“ We have been to this location many times over the years. (Usually chosen by another family member that lives close to there ) It's just not my favorite steak place. I guess I'm a filet snob! I quit getting them over the years. I got a salad and a baked potato this time to play it safe. My husband did get the chicken fried steak and I took a bite of it and it was super tender. My daughter got the filet and said it wasn't bad. Not touch like I have had in the past. Our waiter was super attentive and funny. Wish I could recall his name. It was freezing outside so was hoping that fireplace was lit but was not. Hoffbrau is convenient and one of the few restaurants in Haltom City so I'm sure we will occasionally eat there with family members. ”
“ Interesting enough almost 1 year to the day we ate at the Benbrook location. Today we wanted a good steak and did a yelp search and Hoffbrau came up...the one in Fort Worth and I kept saying I felt like we've eaten here before and really loved it. No reviews or checkin's though....I knew once we drove up that this wasn't the one we had dined at previously. This one is located at the end of a strip plaza....loses some of its appeal...until you walk in. Surprisingly ordered exactly what I had at the Benbrook location. Bone in prime rib, baked potato, side salad and corn on the cob. The steak was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The baked potato equally as good. The Corn on the cob while good felt like it had been made earlier in the day and "warmed" up. We also tried the cornbread in a cast iron skillet...not a fan...felt like it was a few days old. Service is was great. Seated quickly. ”
“ Growing up, my family used to go Hoffbraus to celebrate birthdays, and now I try to visit each time I'm back in town because it is just such a good steakhouse. The restaurant itself feels very Texas with the decor, you can tell you are at a steakhouse right when you walk in. I would recommend the brau chips as your appetizer, they are so crispy and delicious when dipped in ranch. I always get the 7 oz chucks sirloin. I like my sirloin rare, and it is always perfectly cooked. Also make sure to say yes to the rolls, they are just a little sweet and I always save one to eat as dessert. The service is always fast and everyone working has that Texas charm. I can't wait to be back in town to go to Hoffbraus again. ”
“ I was very skeptical when my boyfriend said we were going to this place. However, it exceeded my expectations! I had never heard of jalapeño broccoli and cheese soup but it was literally to die for. I would drive here everyday if I could to get it, it's that good. I also had the chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. It was like mom's homestyle cooking which was amazing. My boyfriend had the BBQ burger which was great as well. All in all I couldn't say enough good things about this place. I know it has been there forever but they continue to obviously be an impressive place for a night out. Our server was great as well and the restaurant was nice with a home feel. ”
“ Our server was amazing! Nice country music in the background while we ate. We got our food within 15 min. The rolls were amazing as well. Overall it was amazing will be coming back! ”
“ Here we are again because this restaurant is on the discount app called inKind, we all like discounts (am I right?) Hey! Join inKind and we'll both get $25 to spend at amazing restaurants! https://app.inkind.com/refer/6B7ZHLYW. The restaurant has a country atmosphere from the decor to music but you can also keep up with your favorite teams on several tv's around the bar area. The food is always delicious. My husband got the cheeseburger which was very good, I got the cowtown chicken fried steak with jalapeno gravy, and a chili relleno on top. Everything was delicious. We received great service as well. ”
